About me
I am an accredited counsellor, psychotherapist and group psychotherapist with the Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners, and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I have trained in Person-Centred and Existential Counselling and Groupwork at City University, Counselling Psychology at PHYSIS and Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy at Spectrum. I hold a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from CPPD.
I am a Director of Loving Men and North London Group Therapy and a Clinical Associate with Pink Therapy. Between 1995 and 2008 I led and co-devised the sexual health groupwork programme at PACE.
I have written three interactive workbooks Getting Ready (on self-esteem and getting ready for relationships), Getting What You Want in friendships and relationships, and Getting Sexy. These are available from www.timfosketttherapy.co.uk. I have also written two reports on therapeutic groupwork, Talking Spaces and Talking Spaces II, which are available from the publications page of PACE.
I have worked in a variety of settings, as a trainer, therapist, supervisor, researcher and 5 Rhythm dance teacher. I currently have a private practice in North London where I see individuals and couples for therapy, run on-going therapy groups for gay and bi men, and offer supervision to therapists.
