About me

I have been working as a Counsellor / Psychotherapist for over 12 years.

I am currently working as an independent therapist in my own private practice, having worked for Croydon Council as an SEN Secondary School Counsellor.

I also iwork n the city for a large corporate Bank within Employee Relations / in house Psychotherapy team.

I have also had experience of working with Employee Assistance programmes and for Health care providers.

Working in various sectors  prior to moving to London 5 years ago I have had a lot of experience with the LGBT community within a voluntary  aspect and within my private therapeutic practice

I am fully qualified being trained in the Person Centered and Humanistic Models of counselling, this means that I work with the Client using the 3 core conditions of Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive regard to support that person to affect change within their lives to enable them to reach their fullest potentials.

I now work as an Integrative Humanistic therapist meaning that I integrate other Humanistic models into my sessions, Gestalt, Transactional analysis and Existential therapies including some CBT where suitable.I also have recently received the Professional Qualification in the therapeutic use of Mindfulness.

I have recently complerted training in "Rewind technique" and i am studying EMDR.

I follow the BACP –British Association of Counsellor and Psychotherapists ethical framework .

I am an accredited member and also appear on their voluntary register-number 020459.
