A decade of experience counselling sexual minorities.
I work for PACE as their Gay Men's Sexual Health Counsellor and work on their general group work programme. I also lead specialist, innovative work with Black gay/bi men on sexuality, HIV/AIDS and identity (The Black Connection).
I've extensive experience working with gay men on relationship issue and on addictions, especially sex, drugs and alcohol. I led a therapeutic group work programme for gay men with drug and alcohol problems at the Hungerford /Antidote project.
I've extensive voluntary experience as a counellor with PACE, London Friend and ACAPS working with LGBT clients, and with GMFA/BIGP working with Black gay men on sexual health promotion and positive gay identity.
Coming out issues, sexual health and HIV, relationship issues, self-esteem, personal growth, depression, addictions: alcohol and drugs.
Gay and lesbian issues in the black and ethnic minority communities, working on the impact of racism and homophobia.
