Experience
Sixteen years working with sexual minority agencies as a counsellor and supervisor, as well as in private practice. I have co-presented a workshop for BACP on the erotic transference and run several workshops on the coming out process for Pink Therapy's Essentials in Sexual Minority Therapy course. I have also attended training on Atypical Gender Identity Development at the Tavistock Clinic.
I have attended many workshops, mainly through ALGBP, Pink Therapy and London Friend. I have also run workshops for PACE and Pink Therapy and attended two Pink Therapy conferences, in 2004 and 2006.
I have also written a number of articles for counselling and psychotherapy journals on working with sexual minorities and contributed a chapter to Pink Therapy Volume 2 on Analytical Psychology.
I am course team leader on the BSc in Counselling at APU and this focuses on the needs of all minority clients, whatever their sexuality.
