Experience
I work with clients of all sexualities and gender identities. My practice includes a significant proportion of lesbians and gay men, and I also have experience of working with transgendered clients who may be considering or have embarked upon transition. I also work with couples.
Specialisms and Interests
I work collaboratively with clients to explore a wide range of emotional and relationship experiences, including depression, anxiety and panic states , obsessional feelings and compulsions and dissociation (feeling numb or unreal). I also work with clients who have a conflicted relationship with food or other substances and discomfort with their body image.

I have specific experience of working with clients who have experienced loss or trauma either in early life or subsequently, and in working with clients who have experienced child sexual abuse. I have particular interests in exploring issues of gender identity, including transgender and intersexuality. I am also experienced in working with young adults (aged 18-25).

My clients come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and I believe that understanding how culture, race and class as well as individual family history, affect our sense of self and what is possible for us, can be an important part of what psychotherapy has to offer.
Fees
£45 per 50 minute session, with some lower cost places for those on low incomes. For couples I charge £75 per 75 minute session (with some lower cost places depending upon joint income).
