Theoretical Approach:
Integrative. My diplma training was Humanistic and specialised in person-centred, psychosynthesis and Gestalt models. I draw from a range of theories and mediums depending on the person I am working with and what works for them. This can include creative therapy - art, poetry, visualisation and/or bodywork - focusing on bodily experience and sensations. I can work short-term, long-term or for an agreed time period. |

Specific Training and Experience:
I have worked in social care settings for over 8 years, including working as a counsellor for over 7 years. During this time I have worked with many sexual minority clients both within services dedicated to these communities (Metro and London Friend) and generic services. I have attended Pink Therapy workshops and a range of diversity trainings. I am a gay affirmative therapist and supervisor. |
