To find a therapist you can search by any keyword you wish e.g. the kind of therapist you're looking for, or their location, or even their name if you know it. Therapists are generally listed in the Directory under their town. So, for example, you can type in gestalt Leeds or Bisexual London. As with any search engine, if at first you don't find what you're looking for, try typing in alternative words.

You can search by sexuality of therapist: lesbian, gay, bisexual, heterosexual, transgender or by postcode/town or by 'problem/issue' just type the key word into the box below.

If you are disabled and in view of the fact that relatively few therapists work in accessible premises, some of our therapists have expressed a willingness to work with disabled clients by email or telephone counselling and you can search for these by typing email counselling or telephone counselling in the search engine, other key words are wheelchair accessible or ground floor room.

Some therapists are able to work in languages other than English. To find such a therapist simply type the name of the language into the search engine.
