About me
After attaining my degree in Psychology, I trained to diploma level as an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. I have professional accredited status with National Counselling Society (NCS).
I'm experienced and passionate in working with clients who identify within the gender, sexual and relationship diverse community. I have been a Counsellor at the Enfield LGBT Network since 2015 (working in person and online), as well as other charity organisations and several schools. Overall my work with clients has been a mixture of GSRD and Non-GSRD individuals, but I am keen to work more with the GSRD community.
I idenitfy as a cisgender woman and my pronouns are she/her.
I offer short term and long term counselling from my practice in Wickford, Essex (SS11) and I also offer online (video call) sessions.

Experience and approach
Specific experience and training:
I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and a BSc(hons) Psychology (BPS).
There are all sorts of reasons why people seek out counselling. Sometimes people are struggling with something specific, like difficult relationships with family, friends and/or romantic partners. Sometimes it's more general, like feeling stuck in a rut and unable to move forward with living your own life. But sometimes it's just wanting to talk about stuff in a space you can trust as safe and non-judgmental.
It's important to remember that seeing and LGBTQ+ counsellor doesn't nessessarily mean your sessions will be focused on your sexuality or gender.
Apart from GSRD related topics/issues, I most commonly work with those suffering with depression and anxiety, but I have also worked well with the following issues:
- Abuse
- Anger
- Bereavement & loss
- Bipolar disorder
- Chronic pain
- Family dysfunction
- OCD
- Isolation/Loneliness
- Low self-esteem
- Low self-confidence
- Phobias
- Relationship problems
- Suicidal thoughts
- Trauma
- Work-related stress
