Pink Therapy is a leading independent training organisation specialising in work with Gender, Sex and Relationship Diverse communities. Over the twenty-five years our training programme has been running, we've helped hundreds of therapists build their cultural competency and knowledge across a wide range of GSRD issues. What is GSRD?
Our modules draw on material from a range of leaders and experts in therapeutic work with people of diverse genders, sexualities, identities, relationships, lifestyles and practices. Access to each module lasts two years, so the content stays current as the field develops.
Studying online lets you build your professional knowledge at a pace that suits you, without the added time and cost of attending training in person.
Courses combine video lectures, reading tasks and written activities. They're designed for qualified counsellors and mental health workers. They aren't a counselling qualification in themselves, but each module can count towards 15 hours of Continuing Professional Development with UK professional therapy organisations.
All our online modules and courses are available for self-study, with the option to submit a written assignment. Passing the assignment earns 15 hours of CPD credit per module, along with a Certificate of Study for the module or course bundle. We've also grouped some modules together for more comprehensive learning in specific topic areas relevant to your professional interests.
All Pink Therapy modules and courses are quality checked by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). No course or module leads to the Accredited Register, or fully prepares a graduate to practise as a qualified counsellor, but passing a module demonstrates a commitment to specialist CPD study and can count towards our accreditation criteria.
